Purrfect Partners is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in relation to any personal data you provide to us as part of pet sitting services to you. We will do everything possible to ensure that data is collected, stored, processed, maintained, cleansed and retained in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on and from 25 May 2018.
As Data Controller, Purrfect Partners are responsible for storing and otherwise processing personal data in a fair, lawful, secure and transparent way.
Collection of Personal Data
We do not store any personal information about individuals who visit the website (www.purrfectpartners.co.uk) except where personal contact information is provided or you use one of our online services.
We may collect and retain the following information about you:
- Your name, email address, postal address, telephone numbers and details about your pet
- Your IP address (which is a unique identifier that computers and devices use to identify and communicate with each other).
Personal data provided to us
Any information that you provide to us will be retained in strictest confidence and only be used for the purposes of facilitating our services to you, including but not limited to, keeping you updated with details of our services that may be of interest to you.
In facilitating services to you the information you provide may be shared with any employee of Purrfect Partners, all of which are personally vetted in accordance with the employment practices of Purrfect Partners.
How we use your information
We may use your personal information for the following purposes:
- Administer services to you, including in the facilitation and delivery of Purrfect Partners to your pet;
- To notify you of our services that may be of interest to you;
- To deal with your requests and enquiries;
- To contact you for reasons related to your enquiry;
- To use your IP address to monitor traffic and gather browsing behaviours of visitors to our website. We WILL NOT use your IP address to identify you in any way;
When we collect personal data from you to notify you of our services we will you give the opportunity to opt in to any such communications and will tell you how you can opt-out at any time.
When you have opted in to additional communications about our services we will process your personal data on the basis of consent.
Who we share your personal data with
With the exception of employees of Purrfect Partners, we do not supply or share personal data provided by you with any third party. If we would like to share your information for any other purpose, we will ask for your consent before doing so.
Purrfect Partners may share your personal data with the police and other law enforcement agencies for the purposes of crime prevention or detection.
If we disclose your personal information, we ask the organisation concerned to demonstrate that the data will assist in the prevention or detection of crime, or that Purrfect Partners is legally obliged to disclose it.
This is done on a strictly case by case basis and through a tightly controlled process to ensure we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation.
Your rights regarding your personal data
As a data subject you have the right at any time to request access to personal information that Purrfect Partners holds about you. Such requests are called data subject access requests. If you would like to make a subject access request, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you request us to correct any inaccuracies in your data or delete all information we hold which identifies you, you can make this request at any time by emailing email@example.com but please note we may be compelled to maintain your information due to specific legislative or regulatory requirements. In either case we will require you to provide us with enough information to identify you.
Any data that we collect from you will be automatically deleted and securely destroyed from our records after four years of inactivity.
